Today in History: I Have A Dream

On this day in history, August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his monumental and historic “I Have A Dream” speech in Washington, DC.

Tonight, history will be again be made on this date, when, for the first time in American history, an African-American man will accept the nomination for President of the United States of America.  How far we have come, and how far we still have to go.  Martin Luther King, Jr. would be proud to see his dream realized.
