Good Times.
Any time you meet a payment.
Good Times.
Any time you need a friend.
Good Times.
Any time you’re out from under.
Not getting hassled, not getting hustled.
Keepin’ your head above water,
Making a wave when you can.
Temporary lay offs.
Good Times.
Easy credit rip offs.
Good Times.
Scratchin’ and surviving.
Good Times.
Hangin in a chow line
Good Times.
Ain’t we lucky we got ’em
Good Times!
Times aren’t tough but boy are they ever busy. Just wanted to chime in and say that everything’s alright and I’m alive and well. Hopefully when I get a moment to breathe again I’ll write. And then after that I’ll clean my apartment. Catch up on my Scrabulous games. Meet a friend for lunch or dinner. Go out and be among the living.
One bright spot through all of this– it’s finally feeling like spring around here!!!
Just lookin out of the window,
Watchin’ the asphalt grow,
Thinkin how it all looks hand me down….

Hey Rick,
This is Pete from the FOF show last night. It was great meeting Marc, Fausto, and Tracy but I have to say that I was just as starstruck to meet you. You’re a great commenter, have a nice blog, and are much more handsome in person. Thanks for letting me “cling” on to you while at SW. Seeing you again with the gang out was also a pleasant surprise. Wasn’t that fun?
I love Good Times and the show’s theme song never fails to enter my mind whenever I’m on the brown line, between Sedgwick and Chicago, on the commute to/from work. Where will JJ live now that they’ve torn down all the buildings?
