Typical Chicagoan. I’m never happy with the seasons. A week ago it was still hot and humid. Today it was in the 40s and 50s. It’s amazing how quickly the seasons change around here.
So as a way of saying “farewell” to summer, here is a picture I took at Hollywood Beach of cutie-pie Nate, who we had met at the beach this summer, gazing across the lake at all the men and the beautiful blue sky.
My post from last Thursday touched some nerves. Thank you to all who commented, and had such kind words to say. I appreciate you all so very much.
Unfortunately, some people took this as an opportunity to jab at me, which I expected. However, one comment in particular was quite nasty, and I deleted it. I’ve never been one to want to censor, and I don’t believe that censorship is wise, but this is my blog, and if you are insulting to me, I can, and will, delete your comment.
If you have something you want to say to me that is less than kind, please do me the favor of sending it via Email. I wouldn’t go to your blog and make such nasty comments. Do me the same courtesy. Thanks.
