These make me want to go to the rainbow bridge and jump.
Although I do have an inspiriation to paint big-eyed puppies and kitties in heaven on velvet, maybe playing cards right about now.

It’s nice that you can get the portraits “with or without Jesus.” In case Fluffy was an atheist or something.

Okay. That’s just WRONG. Also wrong? My husband is in the Coast Guard, and after JFK Jr.’s plane went down people started sending his office (as it was located near the scene) all of these really tacky paintings of Jesus escorting the broken plane into heaven. They wanted them to hang them in the office. Of course, they didn’t.

these pet memorials are quite disturbing indeed. at least they give you a ‘without jesus’ option. now what if i had a snake or a gerbil or a fish? i would feel awfully marginalized and discriminated against…
